I am a qualified chef, and have over a decade of varied hospitality experience, with seven years of offering housekeeping, laundry and cooking training. Whether staff are lacking in housekeeping skills, suffering from Menu fatigue, or possibly the launder of linens is not up to par, my team and I can help.
We fully understand that each institution is unique, and staff roles are often interchangeable. Thus our flexible training programme suits this type of environment well.
Pricing is varied, as each situation is different.
Prices start from R1990 for 4 hours hands on training, with AA rates for travel. Let us know your situation, and we can quote accordingly.

Domestic Cleaning / Housekeeping Training
Come home to a well organised, clean home!
This Household Cleaning Training is made up of two separate classes, hosted in your home, of four hours each.
Only after correspondence with you (via email or Telecom), concerning your needs, and required outcomes, will we send a Trainer out to your house.
Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 (corna-virus), we would demonstrate and emphasise the importance of good personal hygiene, regular hand washing and the use of hand sanitiser to help keep this virus under control.
We cover everything from product selection and usage, principles of cleaning & correct cupboard packing, right through to watering of indoor plants and feeding of pets (if needed). This whole course is customized to suit your household needs, and as such, we focus on routine and attention to detail. Because each person and household is different, it takes two classes to cover everything needed to keep your household running smoothly.
Training is available in English, Zulu, and Tswana
The Trainer will teach your domestic the best way to clean your house, and how to show loving care to your household items, by matching each to the correct cleaning product and the best cleaning utensils. In our training we suggest the use of cleaning products which are gentle yet effective, such as Sugar Soap, Bicarbonate of Soda and White Vinegar. It’s amazing the results you can get from these simple products.
Basic Course Structure covers:

- Indoor plant cleaning and watering

- Correct Product Usage and Good Cleaning Habits

After class 2, we will leave behind a checked off checklist of detailed cleaning practices taught during the classes, which also states if any further cleaning equipment or chemicals are needed, as well as a customised, detailed weekly cleaning schedule which has been explained and demonstrated to your Helper.

Office Cleaning Training

This training is a once off class of roughly 3,5 hours.
Our main aim is to teach and equip your cleaning staff to improve their working standards and fully comprehend that they are responsible for the cleaning and care of your office space, as well as being a representative of the company when visitors arrive. First impressions matter.
We would send a trainer directly to your office to conduct the training on your premises. Upon arrival at your offices, an assessment of the work area and work load is done, to confirm you have enough staff to perform all the required duties, as well as seeing what all we need to teach.

Laundry Care Training
Laundry Care Training
Say good-bye to damaged and badly pressed clothing!
This Laundry Training is a once off class of five hours.
We come to your house and assess the current skills of your Domestic Worker and we note the needs of your wardrobe. We then settle in to teach the needed skills, covering everything from sorting Laundry, Iron care, Product usage, right through to correct hanging of items and correct cupboard packing.
The class is structured for practical hands on training. The Trainer demonstrates, and the student replicates. Any student errors are addressed and further demonstration is given if needed. The trainer will not leave until they are 100% confident that the student is competent.
Whatever your concerns, we will ace it!

After the training session, the Trainer will leave you behind a ticked of checklist of everything covered in the class, which will state if you need to purchase any new items, such as ironing board covers, more pegs or hangers etc.

Load-shedding –If load-shedding is experienced during training, the Trainer will do all the training that does not require power, such as folding and packing cupboards. She will then wait at the house until the power returns, and then complete the training that requires power, such as ironing.

Cooking Training
Cooking Training
Come home to a Homemade Healthy Dinner every day!
This Cooking Training is made up of two to three separate classes of four hours each, hosted in your kitchen.
In class 1, we come through to your home and teach your Domestic basic kitchen skills. We cover kitchen hygiene, personal hygiene, knife safety, getting ready to cook, and menu preparation.
We can teach Banting style cooking, LCHF or traditional meals like Curry and Rice or Chicken A la King. It all depends on what you are looking for.
We have standardised the recipes in class one so we can measure the student’s abilities correctly against their peers. This will give us a clear indication of how many lessons you should need to book.

Shopping lists are emailed through prior to each class.
After lesson one we can teach just about anything you would like. I have few standardised menu options you can choose from, which I will can send you upon request. We try and cover various cooking techniques in the different classes, which is generally why certain recipes are in each class. But the menu options are flexible.

Professional / Workplace Etiquette Training
Your receptionist is the first face of the company most people see and meet. They need to be well spoken, well-groomed and have the skills to present the company well. Etiquette, such as shaking of hands, offering tea and coffee, as well as body language, is very beneficial for a person fulfilling this role.
In our ever changing society, the fundamental rules of Etiquette remain a much needed skill, in order to maintain a level of respect and hierarchy with in our working environments.
This training is claimable under BEE Skills Development.
